PDA App login by Pin number

PDA's have a little screen and often little keyboards and logging in with email address and hopefully a long complicated password is not the easiest and often leads to mistypes or worse saved passwords. Use of a 4 or 6 digit pin number to login would make the process simpler and less likely to resort to system saved PW's and ID's. Also help stop users using others ID's when they are saved.

APP - Add task buttons for 'Stock Discrepancies' & 'Stock in unknown locations'

Can you add a button for 'Stock Discrepancies' and 'Stock in unknown locations' on the Tasks section of the app? When a stock discrepancy is raised, it's very manual and outdated how to check these. The items need a stock take to fix then have to manually release the order from 'On Hold' status. Could this work by adding the product to a task to stock take (you then know where the location is) > then once stock taked > release any orders from 'On Hold' automatically that can be fulfilled/located. Any that can't be can remain 'On Hold' Could there also be a similar button on the same page to fix stock in unknown locations as currently this is very messy when using pre-despatched - awaiting stock order statuses. There is no quick way to check these without manually pulling off reports and going through the pre despatched which are located correctly.

Could a 'not located' button be added to the stock take app which then highlights in the stock take approvals report that this item needs it's location checked/updated.

Notifiction on stock problem

Would it be possible to put a permanent notification on the app for when a stock issue ("Pickwave Stock problem") is raised, as our staff keep forgetting? Thanks, Sam

Beta App Access

In the play store we are able to have a beta program which means you are able to see updates before they go to general release. If you opt into this feature you will need to set up a new google account solely for the beta. We recommend you use this account on 2 devices so you can test all areas of the app. Limiting to 2 devices means that if there are any widespread issues with compatibility of a certain model then it wont affect your day to day business as the majority of your devices will remain on the stable live version. Please log a support ticket with the new google account requesting access to the App Beta. We recommend a factory reset of the test devices and setting up the app from scratch with the new beta account to rule out any inconsistancies.

Scan location - make skus in order

When you scan a location on the app, it brings up all the skus in that location. However, it doesn't bring the products up in sku order. We have some small items that are stored in sku order inside a box that's allocated to a single location. When working at location level, it's hard to find the item you want to work on on the scanner, as it's not in any particular order.

Photos of product packaging on picking app

I'd love to be able to set a "product packaging photo" via the app, which will allow us to take a quick snap in the warehouse (on the Android scanners) so we can record what the packaging looks like. This photo then gets displayed on the app when the user is picking - it currently shows a photo of the product itself, but if that product is in a box, then the photo is pretty useless. This could be something that's done as part of the booking in process, where it notifies the user that no product packaging photo exists, and asks them to snap one there and then. It could also be done when picking (if wanted), and the user should be able to update the photo in case the packaging has changed etc. This would be a great help when looking for a product that's lost, or for any new users who aren't familiar with the range.

Ability to relocate SKUs in bulk on the app by scanning (either bay or list of products)

We know we can do this on the computer by making a note of SKUs to move, but when stock taking or relocating SKUs to a new location it would be great if you could scan a whole bay barcode, or scan a list of products to move to new location in bulk from the app.

Auto pop up, add trolley for picking

When we pick a new pickwave, every time we have to accept the "add trolley"...., select the 3 dots > add trolley, if a pop up could just come up with "scan trolley > "add" that would be great. Thanks, Sam

Show Variants on App

See variants on the app, currently, it is impossible to see, we would ideally like to do stock counts on the app, but as they are all individual it is impossible to do this. There is no problem if the item is there and we are up/over on stock, however, the problem arises if the item is not there and you cannot check the stock. Thanks, Sam

Stock Take App - Secondary filter on stock take page (alphabetical based on SKU)

We noticed when using the app and stock taking, the order in which the lines come up is random and not based on any secondary filter so you find yourself going back and forth rather than just along to the next box in order. Having this option to sort per say SKU would allow us to go through stock takes much more easily knowing everything in that bay is accounted for.
