APP - Add task buttons for 'Stock Discrepancies' & 'Stock in unknown locations'

Can you add a button for 'Stock Discrepancies' and 'Stock in unknown locations' on the Tasks section of the app?

When a stock discrepancy is raised, it's very manual and outdated how to check these. The items need a stock take to fix then have to manually release the order from 'On Hold' status. Could this work by adding the product to a task to stock take (you then know where the location is) > then once stock taked > release any orders from 'On Hold' automatically that can be fulfilled/located. Any that can't be can remain 'On Hold'

Could there also be a similar button on the same page to fix stock in unknown locations as currently this is very messy when using pre-despatched - awaiting stock order statuses. There is no quick way to check these without manually pulling off reports and going through the pre despatched which are located correctly.

Improvements on this:

When raising a stock discrepancy we find it creates additional extra work which is heavily focused on manual input/editing via the PC only. To improve on this and allow the handheld devices to assist with this would save a fair bit of time regularly.

Suggested improvements:

- Allow stock discrepancies to show as a task for all admin so that these can be handled on the handheld devices. This would make stock taking the item much easier than having to manually check the messages on Storefeeder click into the order, product then location to then do a stock take.

- Once a stock take is carried out on an item and it is deemed in stock then this should force a release of the product back in to a pickwave (or at least back into complete ready to pick).

- If stock is incorrect then updating the stock should unallocate from the order, update and save this as pending part/all stock.

Hi Josh,

this is already available on the app. There is a dedicated stock take for picking exceptions called "Pickwave stock problem" this is limited to products and locations that have been marked.

You are also able to approve stock takes via the app as well via the "Pending Stock Takes" page (also covered in the above KB)

Thanks,

Jared

Hello Jared,

I was unaware of this which is very helpful so thank you for pointing this out. With V3 will the dashboard allow us to add things like this as 'tasks' so that these are never missed. As currently it still requires something to physically check this area first.
