SKU and Name updates on a Product Patch

The Put to a product is potentially error prone, with the requirement to remap and remove fields.

Fand F wish to update SKU and Name through the API, and the availability to update these, with the Warehouse information and images, through PATCH Product/ID calls would be welcomed for simplicity, future proofing and reduction of error risk.
