Add “Order Status” as a Condition in Shipping Rules

We would like StoreFeeder to add Order Status as an available condition when creating Shipping Rules.

Business Requirement

We need to select different Royal Mail shipping services depending on the current status of an order.

For example:

• Pending orders → Royal Mail Tracked 24
• Complete / Ready to Pick orders → Royal Mail Tracked 48

Currently, Shipping Rules do not allow us to use the order's status as a condition, which means we cannot automate this process.

Requested Order Status Options

Ideally, the Shipping Rules should allow us to select statuses such as:

• Pending (Waiting All Stock)
• Pending – Awaiting Stock
• Complete – Ready to Pick

Example Rule

IF: Order Status = Pending (Waiting All Stock) or Pending – Awaiting Stock
THEN: Use Royal Mail Tracked 24

IF: Order Status = Complete – Ready to Pick
THEN: Use Royal Mail Tracked 48

Benefit

Adding Order Status as a Shipping Rule condition would allow merchants to automatically prioritise certain orders with a faster delivery service while keeping the standard service for orders that are already ready to dispatch.

This would reduce manual intervention and provide much greater flexibility when automating shipping services.
