Product and Order Sorting is a pain in the butt

Hi, This keeps happening if you miss click the boxes on the orders or products view ie if i want to enter a SKU and miss click the box anywhere around it will go off and sort that field. With the slowness on SF as it is at the moment this is a real pain. Wondering if its an idea to have the filtering clickable ONLY on the arrows? Its a simple thing but drives me mental :-) Thanks
