Ability to scan a barcode to check if new stock is already in Storefeeder

We have 1,000's of products arriving each week and we presently have to manually search on SF with the barcode to see if we have already got that product listed with no inventory. It would be very useful to be able to scan a barcode to search to save human error and time.

Hi, A barcode scanner is like a mouse or keyboard, it's just a way to input data so if you go to the storefeeder product grid and then click on the EAN box and scan it will input the EAN, you can setup barcode scanners so that after scanning they press enter and this will make the search happen straight away. If you need any assistance with this please contact the support team! But it is definitely possible to achieve what you're after here. Thank you, The Storefeeder Team

Thank you for your comment, but I am talking about scanning a product to see if it is already in our own storefeeder base of products

Thanks for your comments with regard to this but I was talking about physically scanning a product and it brings up the item in Storefeeder instead of manually inputting the barcode.

you can do this on the manage Products > EAN field and put the barcode in there. Thanks, Sam ShoeStationDirect.co.uk
