Automate Pick Wave Creation Based On Rules

A process that is time consuming and easily automated to save time. It would be great to have a set of rules based on a rota of staff, shipping rules, opening times and how many times a day to push this (or even better if a picker gets low push some to them). With the addition of manually still being able to create pick waves. We feel this process should by now be possible to automate as its a daily task that is very unnecessary to manually do eating into valuable time each and every day.

Stock Location Barcodes

It would be good to have a button similar to the Product EAN/UPC barcode print in the Stock Locations. At the moment we go off and generate barcodes using other software (or online) but if we could create the location in storefeeder and the print to our label printer it would save some time for us . Thanks

Make it easy to find orders from the same customer but different Channels

NOT TO MERGE ORDERS ON STOREFEEDER AS THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE Simply to flag orders when in 'Warehouse - Picking - Outstanding orders' when they have identical postcodes but from different channels so we can print these orders and send them together. We find ourselves on a morning having to filter the outstanding orders by postcode. We then scroll through and find by eye matching postcodes, we then verify that they are from the same customer but placed on various different channels. We would then dispatch one with postage and the other orders as default shipping and then our picker/packers would send these together. I think some way to flag these so they are easier to see for all would be beneficial, saving multiple orders going to the same customer thus saving money on postage and time on picking and packing.

This featute enables you to add expiry dates and batches to products which will automatically affect your picking order and will store batch information against orders for tracability. Please read the attached document containg the as yet unpublished knowledgebase article. Pause Pickwaves

It would be ideal to be able to pause pickwaves once opened as to help better tracking of time. I.e., If a pickwave extends into and over lunch, or if an employee takes a break during a pickwave. Furthermore, the ability to add notes as to why a pickwave was paused for better traceability.

Pick from bulk location when someone orders a full box quantity or more than we have in the pickbin

Currently if we take a large order for a product, it will empty the pickbin and then take the picker to the bulk location. It would be neater for the picker if they just took all the product from the bulk location or at least got them to retreive full box quantities from the bulk location.

Create Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN)

Allow users to merge multiple Purchase Orders (POs) into a single Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) for smoother inbound delivery and put away. At present, users are to jump between POs where there exists a single delivery from a supplier consisting of multiple POs. Other WMS offer the solution of merging these POs into a single ASN and setting the date for delivery of the ASN. By doing so, we're able to put away all POs as one individual inbound delivery; alleviating the need to move between POs and significantly improving inbound efficiency.

Suggested Stock Transfers from Pick Bins to Bulk Locations

It would be good if suggested stock transfers could work in reverse allowing Bulk Locations to be filled from Pickbins. Our Pickbins serve our online orders well but we use Bulk Locations in our retail unit. We are finding it hard to keep track of restocking these in Storefeeder when items sell through our shop as there are no reports or suggestions of items that sell out of specific bulk locations.

User management of transfers

Would it be possible to add more in depth management of the "Suggested transfers" section by SKU/Location? This would offer far more in depth management of pickface replenishment via StoreFeeder rather than having to create spreadsheets to calculate the data for an upload. Thanks Shaun

Adding Product Difficulty Level For Picking/Packing Purposes - Picker/Packer Productivity

Just switched to PDA scanners and noticed we can track picking and packing productivity which is great. The only issue we have is that we have a varying level of difficulty in picking/packing orders (mostly packing) as some products may require additional packaging measures vs others that simply slide into a mailing or bubble bag. It would be great to have a scale of say 1-3 (Easy / Medium / Difficult) that could be set when creating the product that could add to a users statistics. That way we can assess fairness when comparing statistics and ensure an even spread of trickier products.

Pick multiple waves at once

The idea is for one picker to pick multiple waves on one trip around the warehouse. It would apply the same principle as trolley / consolidated picking to a larger volume of orders - instead of splitting one wave into smaller groups (or individual orders) ready for picking, you split a large volume of orders into smaller, standard waves ready for packing. For example: I have 150 orders to pick. I split them into three waves of 50. All three waves are assigned to one picker on one 'trolley' (terminology TBC), and are 'merged' for picking. I place three totes / crates on a trolley, and set off around the warehouse. The three 'merged' waves are then picked together. I need to pick three of same unit from location x; two are in wave 1, one in wave 3. Scan the goods, place them in the relevant tub, move on. One picked, the waves can be taken off the trolley and packed individually, in the same way as one would normallly pack. This would enable us to pick several hundred units of stock on one trip, and make a huge productivity saving at the busiest times of year.

Add note to pickwave when order is removed from a pickwave

Currently if an order is removed from a pickwave a message pops up on the scanner at the end of the pickers wave to say that an item has been removed, however it doesn't go anywhere else. It would be useful if this note was also added to the pickwave notes on the pickwave screen The reason for this is that the picker may have finished the pickwave before the item is removed, therefore they never see the note. If it's added to the notes on the pickwave as well then at least the packer knows why they have something left in the trolley at the end.

Add a 'Shipping Cost' filter option on the Outstanding Orders Picking Page

It would be handy for us to be able to see the shipping cost for each order as a separate column on the Outstanding Orders Page. Here we could easily skim any expensive 'paid for' shipping costs and doublecheck that the correct shipping rule has been applied to that order before dispatching.

Tick button on bulk transfers for removing old location

I would just like to see if we could have the option on the transfer import screen to remove location when completing a bulk transfer on the Transfer import page. having this as a selectable option would be a much easier and streamlined for when doing larger stock transfers and re-arranging of the warehouse? there is already the option to remove locations from skus individually and a little work around albeit not ideal on the product import/export but i believe it would be better suited to being a yes/no option on the "Transfer Import" screen.

Choose which warehouse sells on what platform

Before moving to Storefeeder we were able to choose which Warehouses sold their stock and on what platforms they did so. They were also ranked in order as to which warehouse sold stock first if there was more than one warehouse fulfilling the same orders. Would something like this work on Storefeeder?

Annual Stock Take

To have an option on the app or pc where we can see the percentage of how many locations or products were scanned and counted. Ex : a report which we can print and see that 100% of our products or locations were scanned and counted and nothing was missed out.
